Three college football teams in Alabama are headed to bowl games in December.

The University of Alabama will be taking on the University of Oklahoma Saturday, December 29th in the Orange Bowl.

That means to see the Tide roll, you’ll be looking a flight to Miami, FL.

On average, the roundtrip flight from Birmingham (BHM) to Miami (MIA) is $900-$1000. If you change your travel date around and do some extra flight shopping, the lowest available we could find is $546.

You can also consider flying into Fort Lauderdale (FLL), but pricing is still right around the same.

Another option for UA fans is bundling with Crimson Tide Travel. Packages start around $1,000, but cover everything from travel to tickets into the big game.

Next up is Auburn University.

The Tigers take on Purdue University Friday, December 28 in the Music City Bowl.

Flights to Nashville start around $400, but the drive is around 3 hours.

Gas prices have been decreasing, so you could make the ~200 mile drive and save a few dollars.

Last but not least, the University of Alabama at Birmingham will be playing in Boca Raton, FL.

The Blazers take on Northern Illinois University in the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl Tuesday, December 18.

You would look at flying into Fort Lauderdale.

Considering the game falls on a weekday, and not as close to New Years, the flight costs drop from BHM to FLL. Flights start at just over $300.

The cost of the flight doesn’t cover your entrance to the games.

If you want to get into the Orange Bowl, online most tickets start around $300.

For the Music City Bowl and the Boca Raton Bowl, game tickets start around $30.
