DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Carroll Eagles football team has had their ups and downs.
For example, the senior class has gone 10 and 20 in the last three years.
But they say it’s time to shine!

Senior and starting safety Jalen Plott stated that. “The past few years have been not rough, but they haven’t been our best year, so we know we can be. Now that we got guys back, we can improve and
learn how to get back on the same track we’re together.”

In the last two years, the Eagles have lost in the first round by double digits; both times to teams that would lose in the second round.

Head coach Patric Plott stated. “The goal always coming in is to win the whole thing.
So we’ll start by taking it one game at a time.”

“It’s a lot of work still to be done, and I think we’re headed in the right direction as a program and as a team.”

“Ever since Coach Plott’s, first year the leadership just been like an ongoing role
As you know, upperclassmen Keyshawn Cole, wide receivers Takota McLeod, Carsen Edwards running back Lakeith Person. I’m back, we got other star players coming back too, so I feel like this you’re gonna be our year.” Stated starting Linebacker Karmelo Overton.
