ARITON, Ala. (WDHN) — The Ariton Purple Cats welcomed in the Samson Tigers to the Zumstein with a chance to bolster their playoff positioning.

An Ariton win matched with a G.W. Long win over Wicksburg would lock the Purple Cats in the three spot.

But a win paired with a Wicksburg win would make things a bit more interesting, all three teams would be tied with a 5-2 region record. Tie-breakers would decide the playoff positioning from there.
