DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Home Oil Charity Golf Tournament is around the corner.

The 33rd edition of the event will again raise money for the Wiregrass United Way.

Fifty-two teams will compete at Highland Oaks Golf Course on the Friday of Mother’s Day weekend.

Forty-eight teams are already confirmed.

The Home Oil Company and United Way are still accepting more sponsors and donations.

“We max the tournament out every single year as far as how many volunteers that we have so we max that out every single year and we actually have a waiting list,” Ryan Shirley, Co-Vice President of the Home Oil Company said. “We’re going to have to grow some more grass at the Highlands for more hole signs so we’ve been very blessed and very fortunate for sure.”

The tournament tees of Friday May 6, at Highland Oaks Golf Course in Dothan.

If you’d like to sign up a four person team contact the Wiregrass United Way or Home Oil Company.
