COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Fans came out today to see the new Cleveland Browns defensive end and Elba native Alex Wright give back to his hometown.

In his freshman year of Highschool, he was playing the saxophone. Now he’s speaking through the megaphone, giving the guidance that he once wished to obtain.

“I remember it was I was just trying to find my way reverting back to something that just made me happy” Wright stated.

Overall more than 50 kids showed up at the camp, learning all kinds of skills on both the offensive and dark side of the ball.

Alex even gave a free video game to the winner of certain drills and continued to work with the kids one on one.

Overall these kids will never forget this day and how one of the best football players from the community touched their hearts.
