ARITON, Ala. (WDHN) — The Ariton Purple Cats swept the Clarke County Bulldogs 12-0, 7-5 to advance to round three of the Class 2A state baseball playoffs.

3A: On the road Providence Christian gets the sweep over Cottage Hill 1-0, 13-3.

2A: Wicksburg defeated St. Luke’s 8-3 in game one, but lost 5-0 in game two.

2A: G.W. Long sweeps Tuscaloosa Academy on the road 10-2, 6-5.

1A: Kinston split with Sweet Water winning game one and losing game two. Game three will be played on Saturday in Kinston.

AISA: Abbeville Christian split with Jackson Academy. The Generals won the first game 10-0, but Jackson Academy took game two 10-6. Game three is at 11 a.m. in Abbeville.
