DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Carroll High School is the winner of the second annual Turkey Classic.
The Eagles soared over the Greenville Tigers 69-49 in the tournament’s championship game.
The win earns the Eagles the final spot in the Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic for the first time since 2019.
“To be back in it, it is awesome,” Carroll Head Coach Mike Henry said. “It is an awesome feeling. I can’t wait to go in the locker room and celebrate with these guys. I may even do my little two step. I’m so happy to be in the Hoops Classic.”
The Eagles’ Takoda McLeod, Lakeith Person and Zavier Womack earned All-Tournament honors.
16 teams from the Wiregrass and surrounding area will compete in the Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic takes place the week after Christmas at the Dothan Civic Center.
