DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dale County Warrior is now officially a Memphis Tiger.
Christian Ross put the pen on the dotted line in front of all his family and friends.
Ross will join the Tiger football team in the summer but says the coaches have already sent him two workout plans to get ready for his freshman season.
With the Warriors last season, Ross had 28 grabs for 528 yards and 6 touchdowns
On defense, he had 43 tackles, 5 sacks, and 5 fumble recoveries, where one recovery he took all the way to the endzone.
All in just 5 games with the Warriors.
Now Ross will look to help out the Memphis Tigers’ offense in the fall. Where he will work as a
Tight End or H-back.
“The coaches were just so genuine and they were the only team that allowed me to come on an official visit and when I came on the official I loved everything,” Memphis signee, Christian Ross said. “It felt like home. Like an absolute home.”
Ross suffered a knee injury in October and has since been rehabbing that injury.
He says recovery is going well and he says he was even able to dunk in a basketball game last night.
