DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan High School has hired two co-defensive coordinators for the 2022 season.

New head coach Jed Kennedy hoped to get at least one of them to come to Dothan and he managed to get both.

Patrick Cerroni comes to the Wolves from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he was the winningest coach in program history with a 109-45 record.

Rich Bedesem was the head coach at Wekiva High School in Florida from 2016-2020 taking the program to a 43-16 record.

Kennedy calls them both home run hires.

They’ve both known kennedy for years and all believe by working together they can lead the Wolves to success.

“We do the same things,” Bedesem said. “We talk the same way. We just have to get the terminology all one. We call a little differently.”

I’ve been a college coach for 21 years, but I’m learning a lot from him in particular,” Cerroni said.

The Wolves kick off the season at Carroll on Aug. 19.
