DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Boys Basketball Team has a new man at the helm.

Jeremy Bynum will take over the Wolves program as head basketball coach.

Bynum was a four-year starter at Jacksonville State University from 2006-2011. He’s the all-time three-point leader and fourth all-time leading scorer for the gamecocks. He’s also been voted one of the top 15 players in JSU history.

After college basketball took him overseas where he played professionally in various European leagues, he then returned to the states and served as an assistant head coach at Jacksonville High School and Oxford High School.

2021 was his first season as a varsity head coach leading Mae Jemison High School.

Bynum takes over the wolves program from Janasky Fleming, who has coached Dothan since 2019.
