ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — One Wiregrass coach has been chosen to lead the Alabama All-Star team in December.

Enterprise Head Coach Ben Blackmon will serve as the head football coach for the Alabama All-Star football squad,

They will face off against the Mississippi All-Atar football squad in the 37th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic, which showcases the top high school athletes from both states.

The game will be held on December 16th on the campus of Southern Miss University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

This is Blackmon’s second time coaching in this All-Star game, as he coached on the 2016 team with legendary coach Terry Curtis.

In the previous 36 meetings, Alabama holds a 25 and 11 record against Mississippi.

Blackmon has amassed 137 wins in his 16 years of being a head coach and will look to lead Alabama to its fourth straight win in the classic.
