REHOBETH, Ala. (WDHN) — In Rehobeth, a star catcher has put ink to paper and will go from being a Rebel to a Sun Chief.
Gracie Alberson signed to play for the Coastal Alabama Sun Chiefs.
In her sophomore and junior seasons, Alberson tallied 31 stolen bases, 67 runs batted in, 13 doubles, 10 triples, and 13 home runs.
Alberson led the Rebels with a .478 batting average in her junior year.
She’s a catcher for the rebels but will be used as a utility player for the Sun Chiefs.

“Super excited,” Rehobeth catcher, Gracie Alberson said. “Shellie is one of my best friends. I’ve played with her since 7th grade. It feels comforting to know that I have someone down there and so it just warms my heart.”
Head coach Summer Chandler says Alberson has one of the best bats and is one of the fastest players she has ever coached.
