GENEVA, Ala. (WDHN) — Geneva High School’s Abby Allen is staying right here in the Wiregrass to advance her academic and athletic careers.

Allen will join the Enterprise State cross country team.

Allen is excited to stay in the Wiregrass as she describes herself as a homebody who loves being with her family.

Allen’s personal best was 24:22 at sectionals.

She says she just loves to run.

“I genuinely just love it,” Allen said. “I love the scenery when you go out there. You have a fun time and enjoy nature and all that.”

Before she joins the Boll Weevils, Allen is working on her endurance and stamina to make her times even faster.
