HEADLAND, Ala. (WDHN) — Rams senior Tanner Taylor signed his NLI to play baseball for Southern Union.
Taylor said the Bison’s coach called him after his summer season with Post 70 was over.
He went for a visit and was wowed by the facilities, coaching staff and area around the campus.
Surrounded by family, friends and teammates Taylor shared his excitement for his next step, but first he’s ready for this year’s Rams team to have success.
“I’m working on my game every day and getting a little better at one specific thing every day,” Taylor said. “I think that will help me a lot. We have a chance to be good this year and I’m looking forward to getting to play with all these incredible teammates and hoping that all these other seniors get a chance to go play college baseball too.”
Taylor will likely play middle infield for Southern Union and possibly third base.
