HOUSTON COUNTY. Ala, (WDHN) — Monday, August 22nd was the night Emanuel Christian served their first athletic event under the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) up against Slocomb.

The Warriors would split with the Red Tops before Slocumb took the lead 2-1 in the third set.

In the fourth set, the Red tops # 2 Abigal Goodham punches one in to take the lead 14-13 for Slocumb. And with the help of Shelba Hagler, they push a 2-1 run making it 16-14 Red Tops.

The warriors know how to battle as Katie Robbins hammered one down and Emanuel Christian found a way back to a tied set at 19.

But a 6-1 drive by Slocumb would eventually seal the deal. Red tops take the dub 3 sets to 1.
