DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston Academy’s Kaelyn Tolley will take her bowling talents to the University of Mobile in the fall.

The Rams’ program is just getting started and Tolley is excited to be a part of setting the foundation.

The longtime bowler has been competing since about the first grade.

Her personal best coming her first year on the Houston Academy team three years ago when she bowled a 226 at practice.

The future Ram describes signing as surreal.

“I’ve been with these kids for like four years now and to be going to college to do something I love feels great,” Tolley said.

Tolley says she wasn’t aware of collegiate bowling opportunities in Alabama until a teammate signed with the Rams last year.

Tolley was thrilled to find out she could bowl at the next level.
