COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Last year for the first time the Kinston Bulldogs had eight wins in a single season. Not to mention playing two playoff games.

“One of my concerns and I’ve told them, you know, early on in the summer, I said we can’t be satisfied. And continue to work harder because nobody is going to overlook us.” stated head coach Rudy Free.

9 seniors return in a tough 9-team region. It’s not going to be an easy task. But Free knows what this team has to do in order to continue down the path the bulldogs have been running.

“The main thing is we got to be able to run the football effectively and be able to stop the run on defense. And that’s kind of what I try to preach to him every day.” Rudy said

Kinston returns five players on offense and six on the dark side of the ball for their first game at home vs Samson on August 19th.
