REHOBETH, Ala. (WDHN) — Rehobeth’s Baker Hattaway will take his talents to the Bellarmine University sprint football program.

Baker Hattaway signing with Bellarmine University

Bellarmine University is located in Louisville, Kentucky, and competes in the Midwest Sprint Football League.

Hattaway will join a Knights team who went 4-3 last year with a 4-1 record in conference play.

Hattaway says what drew him to Bellarmine University was the coaching staff and the campus.

The coaching staff liked Hattaway’s nose for the ball and now are excited for him to make an impact in the fall.

“They said I play crazy on defense and that I just like to go in there and hit people,” Bellarmine signee, Baker Hattaway said. “They said I could play anywhere in the secondary, but I’ll play anywhere, as long as I can get on the field.”
