SKIPPERVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) – Dale County rivals Ariton and G.W. Long are battling it out in the Class 2A baseball state semifinals.

G.W. Long took game one 7-3.

After going to extra innings in game two Ariton came out on top winning 8-7 to split the series.

Game three is set for 5 p.m. on Friday at G.W. Long.

The winner of that game advances to the state championship series.
