TROY, Ala. (WDHN) — Troy baseball joins three other teams statewide who will be playing postseason baseball.
The Trojans were one of the final four teams to get into the field of 64 and were on the bubble going into Selection Monday, but Troy got in for the eighth time in school history and will travel to Tuscaloosa for their regional.
Their first opponent will be the Boston College Eagles out of the ACC. The first pitch for that game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.,
Also in their regional is regional host Alabama and Nicholls State out of the Southland Conference.
