WICKSBURG, Ala. (WDHN) — Wicksburg’s Megan Cochran will continue her softball career with at Huntingdon College.
Cochran will pitch and play first base for the Hawks.
As a junior with the Panthers she hit .389, had a .456 on base percentage and 53 runs batted in.
She believes her coaches pushing her at Wicksburg helped get her to where she is today.
The leftie is excited to see how her pitching fares against college level hitters.
“I went there and I met the coach, she was amazing,” Cochran said. “The campus tour was beautiful. It’s just somewhere I can see myself being.”
Cochran hopes to be the best leader she can be in her senior season with the Panthers before she is off to college.
