Troy and rival, UAB, add two more games in early 2030s


Troy, Ala (WDHN) — Today Troy University announced they will be adding two more games against UAB in the football seasons of 2032 and 2033.

The Alabama schools announced they will be resparking the rivalry in late may.

The Trojans will play the Blazers four times over the course of a six year span from 2028 to 2033.

Previously the teams had met from 2009 to 2014 but then UAB disbanded their program.

Troy leads the all-time series 7-5.

The first of these two new games will be at The Vet in 2032 then the game in 2033 will be in Birmingham.
