Houston County Schools are finally back in session.

After several delays due to a malware attack on the school system’s computers and phones, students returned Monday.

Schools were supposed to start back on August 1st.

WDHN stopped by Wicksburg High School Monday morning as teachers greeted students and parents.

Superintendent David Sewell said despite the delay in the start of the new year, the 2019-2020 school year will still end at the same time.
