DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Dale County residents ran to the polls Tuesday to vote on the renewal and continuation of the Dale County school tax.

Residents voted on whether or not to continue to support Dale County Schools with their tax dollars.

The polls were open on Tuesday from 7 a.m until 7 p.m.

It’s not a new tax, just a renewal of their current tax that has to be voted on every 30 years.

With 19 of 20 precincts reporting every tax has passed with flying colors; all passing by a margin of 68 percent or more.
