DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Meteorologist Andrew Clarke has your daily walk the dog forecast!
We will see partly cloudy skies for the most part across much of the region, with a chance for some isolated showers and possibly a storm or two during the mid to late afternoon. Rain chances are looking to be pretty limited compared to the last couple days at around 30% area-wide. Since our rain chances are looking to be pretty low, highs will be in the low to mid 90s across much of the region, with high heat and humidity values and triple digit heat index values possible in some spots. Therefore, if you’re looking to take your pet out on a stroll, I would recommend doing it this morning in order to avoid the hot temperatures and the rain chances that will be around later today. If you do decide to go later today though, make sure to keep you and your pet hydrated while outdoors. Have a great Monday!
