DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Meteorologist Andrew Clarke has your daily walk the dog forecast!
Another typical summer-like day is in store for much of the Wiregrass, with partly cloudy skies and a chance for afternoon and evening scattered showers and storms. Rain chances will be slightly higher than yesterday at around 40% area-wide. Highs will be in the low 90s, with high heat and humidity values and triple digit heat index values possible once again as well. Therefore, if you’re looking to take your pooch out on a walk, I would recommend going during the morning to avoid the hot temperatures and possible rain chances later in the day. But if you do decide to go during the afternoon hours in particular, make sure to keep you and your furry companion hydrated while outdoors! Have a great Tuesday!
