DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Meteorologist Andrew Clarke has your daily walk the dog forecast sponsored by Wet Pets of Dothan!
Scattered showers and storms can be expected again today during the afternoon hours. These will likely fire up along the sea breeze, with additional development anticipated along the outflow boundaries of weakening storms. These showers and storms will be slow-moving in nature, so some isolated instances of flooding will be possible. We’ll make it up to the low 90s before showers and storms blossom and cool some of us down.
Since we’re expecting showers and storms during the PM hours once again today, I would try to get any dog walking done during the morning hours or around lunchtime so you don’t have to worry about dodging any rain later on. If you go around lunchtime, make sure to take some water along for you and your pup to stay cool, because it will be hot by that point in the day. Have a great Wednesday!
