DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Meteorologist Andrew Clarke has your daily walk the dog forecast sponsored by Wet Pets of Dothan!
Today will be a seasonably warm day with highs in the low to mid 90s. With an upper level ridge overhead, convection is anticipated to be pretty limited, so only expect a couple showers and maybe a storm or two during the afternoon. Rain chances area-wide will be lower than previous days at around 30%.
The best timeframe to take your dog out for a walk will be from now through the early afternoon before it gets hot outside and any potential showers and storms form. Make sure to bring some water along for you and your pup to stay cool, especially if you’re going during the afternoon as the oppressive humidity values outdoors will make it feel hotter than it actually is. Have a great Wednesday!
