DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be another seasonably warm day with highs in the low to mid 90s. We’re going to feel hotter than that thanks to high humidity and dewpoints as heat index values top out near the century mark. A couple showers and maybe a storm or two will be possible during the peak heating of the day in the afternoon.

Thursday will feature a similar setup to today, with a dry AM and a chance for showers and storms during the PM hours. Rain chances will be slightly higher than today at around 40%. We’ll take a trip to the low 90s from the mid 70s.

Rain chances will drop back to 30% for Friday and Saturday. Both days will feature highs in the low 90s and lows in the middle 70s.

Sunday and Monday will likely be our two driest days this week, with only a 20% chance of rain. Highs will warm up a couple degrees into the mid 90s.

Rain chances will go back up to 30% on Tuesday. Highs will drop back to the low 90s with a little bit more shower and storm coverage expected compared to Sunday and Monday.
