DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today has been warm with a few brief, heavy showers. Most of us were dry, and we will all stay dry tonight with lows only dropping to roughly 65 degrees.
Tuesday will be another very warm one with highs topping out in the low to mid 80s with spotty showers possible. A cold front will be moving into our area Tuesday afternoon (the cause for the showers), but temperatures won’t drop much until Wednesday.
Wednesday starts off in the upper 50s and only climbs back up to the middle 70s with mostly sunny skies.
Thursday will be quite nice with morning lows in the middle and upper 50s and afternoon highs in the low 70s.
Friday will start around 60 degrees and climb up to the middle 70s again. A new front will move in on Friday, so rain is much more likely. We’ll put the chance for showers and storms at 60% right now, but that could increase.
Both Saturday and Sunday are likely to be dry and very nice with partly sunny skies, temperatures in the low 50s in the morning, and highs in the low 70s. If the front from Friday doesn’t pass all the way through, highs will make their way into the low 70s with a few rain chances.
Monday has about a 40% chance for showers and storms, and high temperatures will likely be around average or maybe even on the cool side for this time of year. Much cooler temperatures come next week!
