DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be another chilly one with lows dropping into the upper 30s and a little frost possible.
Clouds will build in throughout the day Saturday, and rain chances will start to increase during the afternoon hours. We’ll put that rain chance at 30% for now. Whatever we get will likely be between a mist and a drizzle.
Sunday and Monday both start around the freezing mark and end up in the middle 50s under mostly to partly sunny skies.
Tuesday has a 40% chance for light rain with morning lows in the low 40s and afternoon highs in the middle 50s.
Wednesday should be dry, but the cool air just refuses to budge. Morning lows will be in the low 40s and afternoon highs will be in the upper 50s.
Thursday will be another cool day. Skies will grow increasingly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures will start around 40 degrees and climb to the middle and upper 50s. But Thursday night brings us a BIG change. There’s a chance that rain will move in first, but then cold air wraps in behind the rain and could result in a wintry mix. There’s no guarantee of snow or ice, but it’s something to keep an eye on for sure. We’ll keep digging into the data this weekend and as we get closer to the end of next week.
Friday could start off with a little wintry weather, but it will certainly start cold and stay cold all day long. Temperatures will be in the 20s to start the day and struggle to even climb through the 30s. Skies will likely clear out as we go deeper into the day.
