DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Wowie! What a chilly night we had. Temperatures dropped to 30 degrees at the Dothan Regional Airport as we expected, but just about everyone else in the Tri-State took a dip into the middle and upper 20s. We’ll be warmer tonight with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the middle 30s.

Wednesday will be our big warm up for the week! We’ll start the day in the middle 30s and climb all the way into the middle and upper 60s. Partly sunny skies will block out some of the sunshine, but winds from the SSE will warm us up significantly. A few showers will pop up in southern AL overnight into Sunday morning.

Thursday will also be on the warm side with morning lows around 50 degrees and highs in the low 60s, but we’ll have an 80% chance for rain return to the Tri-State.

Friday has a 60% chance for rain throughout the day. Temperatures could be much cooler depending on the location of the boundary.

Saturday is very much up for debate right now. One model has us completely dry while another says we can expect a washout. Either way, there is high confidence that we should can expect lows in the middle 30s and highs in the middle and upper 40s.

Sunday and Monday should be dry with a mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be cold from start to finish both days. There is an increased chance for morning lows to be in the upper 20s throughout much of the Tri-State. Highs will only be in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Tuesday will likely be warmer with dry conditions continuing.
