DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A shower or two will remain possible through about 7 or 8 AM before drier air moves in and clears out all rain. Clouds should filter out as well, and by the time noon arrives, skies will be mostly sunny and will stay that way for the rest of the day! We’ll top out in the mid 60s for highs as cooler air also moves in.

Tuesday will begin rather chilly in the upper 30s, so make sure to bundle up before you head out the door! We’ll only make it up to the upper 50s by the afternoon despite mostly sunny skies.

We’ll start Wednesday even cooler in the mid 30s, but highs will be warmer as most locations get back to the 60s later in the day. Mostly sunny skies will again prevail.

We’ll make our way back into the 70s on Thursday from the mid to upper 30s with increasing cloud cover.

Our next front will move in on Friday and bring with a 60% chance for showers and storms later in the day. Long-range models are already indicating that we could see an eastward-moving line that could carry severe weather potential with it, so we’re going to continue to watch this system closely in the days ahead and provide any updates when we can! Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

A shower or two could stick around early Saturday, but we’ll dry out and clear out after that. We’ll ascend to the low 60s from the middle and upper 40s.

Sunday will be partly cloudy and cooler with lows in the upper 30s and highs near 60 degrees.
