DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be very seasonal with clouds sticking around and lows in the middle 50s.

Tuesday will be a huge change for us as highs top out in the middle 60s at best. Breezy northwesterly winds and decent cloud cover will prevent us from warming up. A small, very light shower can’t be ruled out before noon, but it’s highly unlikely.

Wednesday will be even colder at the start with upper 30s for everyone. Afternoon highs climb to the upper 50s near 60 degrees with loads of sunshine. We have a Fire Weather Watch from 11 AM to 6 PM due to very dry air at the surface, our drought conditions, and wind gusts of 20-35 mph.

Thursday starts close to freezing, so don’t be surprised if some freeze or frost alerts are posted for our area soon. Temperatures in the afternoon should rebound to the middle 60s in most places under mostly sunny skies.

Friday starts around 40 degrees, but it peaks in the low 70s with mostly sunny skies again.

Saturday and Sunday will be in the 40s to 50s to start and end up in the middle 70s both days.

Monday will be even warmer with highs in the upper 70s.
