DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be fairly seasonable with lows dropping to the low 40s and rain moving out before midnight.

Wednesday will be on the cool side again with highs topping out in the low to potentially middle 50s. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around.

Thursday has a 40% chance for light rain throughout the day. Temperatures will start in the middle and upper 40s and end up in the low 60s. This will be the last seasonable day for a very long time. Thursday night brings an end to the rain as a cold front swings across the area and passes east of us by Friday morning ushering in seriously cold air. A little wintry mix is possible between midnight and 3 AM, but it will not cause road conditions to deteriorate wildly.

Friday morning will start off in the middle 20s but feel like it’s in the single digits because of the very breezy winds out of the northwest. Highs will only peak around the freezing mark despite mostly sunny skies.

Saturday morning will probably be our coldest morning. Dothan will drop below 20 degrees, but outlying areas could drop to 15 degrees. Highs will barely climb to the low 30s.

Sunday will start off at or below 20 degrees and once again make it to the 30s for highs.

Monday will be bitterly cold in the morning with most of us around or below 20 degrees yet again. Highs will stay roughly 20 degrees below average, but we will likely climb to the low or even middle 40s.

Tuesday is going to start off significantly warmer but still below freezing. Highs could actual make it all the way to 50 degrees.
