DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Sunday morning will start off in the low 30s with a mostly clear sky. Expect lots of sunshine on Sunday but it will remain chilly even in the afternoon with highs only in the mid 50s. On Monday morning it will once again be cold, likely dipping slightly below freezing with highs once again in the mid 50s. The day will start with sun early but clouds quickly fill out and will produce rain for some in the afternoon. More widespread an substantial rain arrives late in the day and overnight with showers and periods of rain continuing on and off on Tuesday. Any left over rain wraps up on Tuesday night and Wednesday looks nice with highs in the upper 50s and a mix of sun and clouds. Thursday will bring another round of rain, especially late in the day as a new cold front swings through. Rain will wrap up early Friday morning with warm temperatures to start, but once the cold front passes temperatures will plunge and we dry up quickly. Blustery and cold conditions take over by Friday afternoon and will likely last most of the holiday weekend.
