DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Expect the cloud cover that moved in during the overnight hours to clear out as we go through the morning, giving way to mostly sunny skies for the rest of your Thursday! We’ll be a couple degrees warmer than yesterday for those high temperatures as we return to the low 80s.

We’ll begin Friday similar to today in the mid to upper 50s. From there, we’ll rise into the low to mid 80s for highs during the afternoon as we close out the work week in style with plentiful sunshine all around!

Saturday will look to feature equally pleasant weather with another round of sunny skies. We’ll see even warmer high temperatures as we solidly make it into the mid 80s for highs after waking up to the upper 50s once again.

We’ve taken out the isolated chance for a shower in Sunday’s forecast that we had yesterday. Instead, expect another mostly sunny and warm day as we once again start out in the upper 50s and reach the mid 80s for the most part. However, a few upper 80s are not out of the question as well!

A 20% chance for a shower or two will return to the forecast on Monday. After beginning the morning milder in the low 60s, we’ll take a trip up to the upper 80s for afternoon highs as we stay abnormally warm for this time of year to kick off the new work week.

We’ll bump up those rain chances a little bit to 30% as a cold front sweeps through the region during the day on Tuesday. Highs will drop off a bit to the mid 80s thanks to a slightly higher coverage of showers moving in. We will still start off the day mild though out ahead of the front with another round of low 60s.

We’ll quickly dry out and return to mostly sunny skies behind the front on Wednesday. The front will definitely leave its mark on our temperatures as we fall back even further to the low 80s for highs and the upper 50s for lows as we reach the mid point of next week.
