DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another day full of sunshine, breezy conditions, and cool temperatures can be expected to close out the work week. After waking up to chilly temperatures in the 40s, we’ll only climb into the upper 60s for highs, nearly 10 degrees below where we should be at this time of year. As mentioned above, winds will be on the gusty side once again, with sustained speeds in the 15–25 mph range. Some gusts up to 30 mph will be possible at times as well, so if you have any loose outdoor objects, it might not be a bad idea to bring them inside until the end of the day!

We’ll keep this unseasonably cool weather around for Saturday as we start off the morning in the low 40s and only make it up to the mid 60s by the second half of the day. Sunny skies will prevail.

Sunday will look to begin similarly cold in the low 40s, but thanks to a southerly shift in our winds, we’ll ascend back to the upper 70s by the afternoon for highs. Sunshine will dominate across the board once again!

We’ll continue this warming trend into Monday. After starting out in the upper 40s, we’ll rise into the low 80s as clouds start to roll back into the region. An isolated shower or two will be possible as well.

We’ll keep things the same for Tuesday and Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds and another chance for an isolated shower each day. We’ll climb up even further into the mid 80s for highs after waking up to milder temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Rain chances will then increase to 50% on Thursday as our next system starts to push in. We’ll take a trip from the mid 60s up to around 80 for highs, cooling off a little bit compared to previous days thanks to cloud cover and scattered showers and storms moving back in.
