DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be much calmer as skies clear out behind our cold front. By the time the afternoon arrives, we should be sunny across the board. Highs will be cooler than yesterday as most locations make it up to the low 60s.

Friday will start off rather cool in the upper 30s to low 40s before we rise into the upper 50s and low 60s. Sunny skies will prevail.

A shortwave will move through the region on Saturday, bringing cloud cover back to the region as well as a 20% chance for a few showers. We’ll climb from the chilly upper 30s only into the mid 50s by the afternoon hours.

Mainly sunny skies will return on Sunday as temperatures stay cool. We’ll make our way back into the mid 50s after beginning the morning even colder in the mid 30s.

Expect similar temperatures on Monday. A mix of sun and clouds will fill the skies as we kick off a new work week cool and dry.

Another shortwave will zip through the Wiregrass on Tuesday and bring with it a 30% chance for showers. Highs will peak in the mid 50s once more.

We’ll dry out on Wednesday and ascend to the upper 50s for highs under partly cloudy skies.
