DTOHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — It has been a bit breezy today, and the sunny skies brought our highs to the middle 70s. We’ll start our big cool down tonight!
Friday is expected to be much cooler than the preceding days with lows in the middle 40s and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Winds will still be fairly breezy with gusts over 25 mph and sustained winds of 10-20 mph throughout the day.
Saturday will start in the low 40s or upper 30s and only climb to the middle 60s and upper 60s. Abundant sunshine will make for a beautiful day. Just like Friday, winds are expected to be on the breezy side of things.
Sunday will also be very sunny with a bit of a chilly start. Morning lows could dip into the upper 30s. Afternoon highs will be in the middle 70s.
Monday is expected to take us back to the 80s with partly sunny skies. An isolated shower is possible.
Tuesday has a 20-30% chance for rain with morning lows around 50 degrees and highs in the middle 80s.
Wednesday also has a low-end chance for rain, even warmer morning lows around 60 degrees, and afternoon highs in the middle 80s.
Thursday is our best chance for rain over the next 7 days at 50%. A line of showers and storms should move across the Southeast, so we will be watching this one closely. Highs will be a little cooler than the preceding days.
