DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be quiet as skies start clearing out and temperatures drop into the upper 50s.
Saturday has a 50% chance for scattered showers and storms primarily during the afternoon or evening hours. Afternoon highs will be in the low 80s. The Storm Prediction Center has put out a marginal risk for much of our area for the possibility of hail and a damaging wind gust.
Sunday has a 40% chance for rain, so make sure to have a backup plan to take those outdoor Easter plans inside. Temperatures will be similar to Saturday’s from start to finish.
Monday will be another warm one with a 50% chance for showers. Most of the rain will be during the first half of the day. Temperatures will peak in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Tuesday is when we expect to dry out and cool off a touch. Mostly sunny skies will return. Morning lows should dip into the middle 50s, and afternoon highs will only climb to the middle 70s.
Wednesday will be very similar to Tuesday with mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
Thursday will take us back to the 80s and bring the clouds (and a low rain chance) to the area as well.
