DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We have a seasonably cool night on tap with lows around 40 degrees and clouds building in from the west.

We’ll climb to the middle 50s on Friday. A light shower or two will be possible somewhere in or near the Tri-State; otherwise, it will be a dry day for almost everyone. Temperatures will crash Friday night as lows plummet through the 30s and come to a screeching halt in the middle 20s.

Saturday will start off very cold. “Feels like temperatures” will be around 15 degrees Saturday morning. Afternoon highs are only expected to move into the low 40s despite abundant sunshine, and it will still feel like we’re in the low or middle 30s. You’ll want the winter coat all day long!

Sunday will also be a beautiful day, but make sure to grab the winter coat if you plan on heading out the door early. Lows will be in the low and middle 20s, but highs will return to the middle 50s.

Monday starts off in the middle 30s. Sunny to mostly sunny skies will prevail once again, and highs will likely break into the low 60s.

Tuesday warms us up even further with lows in the low 40s and highs in the middle 60s. Showers might be possible Tuesday night.

Wednesday and Thursday will likely be the warmest days that we have had in a long time! Temperatures will start in the 50s and end up in the upper 60s during the afternoon. We’ll also bring in our first meaningful rain chances for the week with Wednesday at a 30% chance and Thursday at a 40% chance. These chances will likely go up over the next few days.
