DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — We still have a few lingering showers tonight, but most of the overnight hours will be dry. Partly cloudy skies will remain with lows in the low 70s. A few upper 60s won’t be ruled out!

Saturday’s rain chances will be lower than the preceding days. We’ll put that rain chance at 40% for our coverage area, but rain chances will be quite a bit higher for those along the Florida Panhandle. Highs will be in the upper 80s to 90 degrees.

Sunday will be even drier with partly sunny skies and a 20-30% chance for a few lingering showers. Highs will peak in the low 90s.

Monday drops our rain chance even lower (only 10%!), and our temperatures will be in the low to middle 90s with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday have a 40% and 50% chance for showers and storms as moisture returns to the area due to high pressure over the Gulf of Mexico. Another cold front will drop down from the North, and this will provide the lift for showers both days. Highs will be in the low 90s Tuesday and upper 80s on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday will still have a 50% chance for scattered showers/storms. Morning lows will start off around 70 degrees. Afternoon highs will peak in the middle and upper 80s.
