DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be low 70s for most Wiregrass residents. Upper 60s will be possible for those in SW GA.
Wednesday takes a few of us up and over the dreaded 100 degree threshold, but most of the Tri-State will stay in the middle and upper 90s. Much of the country will be blazing with little to no relief in sight. The good news is that our dew points will be in the 60s and low 70s, so heat indices won’t be significantly higher than the actual temperatures.
Thursday and Friday will also likely be close to the century mark with some of us surpassing it both days. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with a low-end rain chance both days.
Saturday and Sunday will be in the middle 90s with a 40% chance for showers/storms each day.
Monday and Tuesday bring our low and high temperatures a little closer to our seasonal averages. Most folks will start off in the low to middle 70s and end up in the low to middle 90s. We’ll keep those rain chances around 40% for now.
