DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today will be partly cloudy with a 30% chance for showers and maybe a storm or two, mainly during the mid-to-late PM hours. Highs will be warmer than yesterday in the low 80s.

A cold front will push through on Thursday. Ahead of it, we’ll see rain chances skyrocket to 80% as a line of showers and storms moves through later on in the day. Some storms could be severe with all modes possible: damaging winds up to 60 mph, large hail, and/or a tornado. Make sure to have a way to receive any severe alerts if you’ll be out and about, especially during the late afternoon into the evening! We’ll start out in the low to mid 60s and make it up to the 80-degree mark.

Friday’s 60% chance for rain will come early in the day as our cold front sweeps through. Lows will be in the upper 50s and highs will be warmer as we get back to the low 80s.

Our next front will push through late Saturday into Sunday morning, with showers and storms possible ahead of it. The majority of this impactful weather should be before sunrise and should stay below severe limits. This could change though, so stay tuned! Sunday will be rainy early, but we’ll be dry otherwise. Highs will cool down into the 70s; lows will cool into the 50s.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny and cool with highs in the middle 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
