DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Now that the heaviest of the rain is moving out of the area, we will only have a few lingering light showers. The deeper we go into the evening, the more we will dry out. Lows will drop into the low and middle 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will both have highs peaking in the low 90s before showers and storms overtake much of the tri-state region during the early afternoon hours. Rain will likely stick around through the evening hours.

Thursday still has a 40-50% chance for rain as highs still only make it to the low 90s.

Friday will likely be our driest day of the next seven. Highs will be in the low to middle 90s with only a 30% chance for a few storms.
