Mostly sunny & less wind for Friday into Sunday with highs 81 to 84 with high clouds increasing Sunday & a weakening cold front moves thru our area later Monday night – rain chances for Mon afternoon & night only appear to be 20%; temperatures cool slightly for Tue – Thu but sunny with highs from 75 to 81 & lows falling back into the 50s…

By Thu (Mar 2), clouds increase ahead of a cold front approaching our area late in the day Fri (Mar 3) – significant rain with possible thunder looks to reach our area later Fri into early Saturday morning (Mar 3-4); after the front moves thru our area, the weekend of Mar 4-5 will have highs in the 50s with lows in the 30s but generally just above freezing that weekend…

A stronger cold front appears to arrive around Mar 12 with low temps likely near or below freezing for mid March in our area; as I have mentioned numerous times, March will be significantly colder for most of the country, especially out west, the north & central Plains, the Great Lakes, the mid Atlantic states & New England; again, the colder weather timeframe for our area appears to be from around Mar 4 to Mar 22…
