DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A few showers will be possible this evening, but most of us will be dry through the night. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s.

Thursday brings our rain chances up very quickly to 70%. Most of us will only climb to the middle 80s, but a few folks could hit the upper 80s. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around all day.

Friday keeps the rain chances very high at 80%. Light rain is possible in the morning, but the scattered showers and storms will be present during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the low to middle 80s. If rain trains over the same area for multiple hours on end, this could lead to flash flooding in or around our area. While flash flooding is a possibility, it’s not a probability.

Saturday and Sunday will be in the middle 80s for highs with a 70% chance for rain both days.

Monday has a 50/50 shot at scattered showers. Temperatures will stay in the middle 80s much of the afternoon, and we could get some peaks of sunshine.

Tuesday brings us a nice cold front that clears out most of our rain chances. Partly sunny skies and a 20% chance for rain with highs in the middle to upper 80s will make for a fairly nice day!

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with much lower dew points and temperatures in the upper 80s.
