DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)– We are under a freeze warning until 9AM CDT, and it is downright cold across the Wiregrass. We are seeing temperatures in the low to mid 30s and some isolated spots are in the upper 20s to start their morning. The good news is that we are going to warm back up into the 60s and we are not going to be cold all day.
As we go into our weekend temperatures are going to continue to rise into the 70s and rain chances are going to remain low. Moderate to severe drought conditions are expected to continue across the Wiregrass as we are not going to see any rain for another possible 7-10 days.
The Peanut Festival looks nice as well for your Friday and throughout the weekend as temperatures are going to continue to climb, and the weather is going to be absolutely beautiful.
As always thanks for reading and for more information watch us on WDHN.
