WIREGRASS, Ala (WDHN) — With inclement weather moving into the area, it’s important to stay up to date with the local school closing and delays!

Here are local school closings and delays:

  • Early County
    • Early County Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 25
  • Dothan City Schools
    • Dothan City Schools will be delayed for two hours on Wednesday, January 25.
    • DCS Transportation will run two hours later than the regularly scheduled and transportation will not be provided to Head Start
    • This delay also applies to all Dothan City School employees.
  • Dale County Schools
    • Dale County Schools will be delayed for two hours on Wednesday, January 25
  • Geneva City Schools
    • Geneva City Schools will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
    • Teachers will report to school at 9:30 a.m.
    • Buses will run two hours later than regular times.
  • Geneva County Schools
    • Geneva County Schools will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
    • Buses will start their regular route at 8:30 a.m.
    • Breakfast will be available when students arrive at schools
  • Houston County schools
    • Houston County Schools will be delayed until 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
  • Brannon Stand Christian Academy
    • Brannon Stand Christian Academy will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
  • Henry County
    • Henry County Schools will be delayed until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
  • Daleville City Schools
    • Daleville City Schools will be delayed 2 hours on Wednesday, January 25
    • Buses will run at 8:45 a.m.
    • Breakfast will not be served and the tardy bell will ring at 9:40 am.
  • Bethlehem Child Development Center
    • Bethlehem Child Development Center in Midland City will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
  • Ozark City Schools
    • Ozark City Schools will be delayed 2 hours on Wednesday, January 25
    • OCS employees are expected to report to work two hours later than the typical arrival time
    • Breakfast will be provided upon arrival
    • Dismissal time will remain the same
  • Northside Methodist Academy
    • Northside Methodist Academy will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
    • The car line will open at 10:00 a.m.
  • Coffee County Schools
    • Coffee County Schools will be delayed until 9:00 a.m.on Wednesday, January 25
    • Bus routes will run an hour and a half later than normal times.
  • Emmanuel Christian School
    • Emmanuel Christian School will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25
  • Wiregrass Homeschool Christian Academy
    • Wiregrass Homeschool Christian Academy will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January, 25.
  • Westgate Christian School
    • Westgate Christian School will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January, 25.
  • Wallace Community College
    • Wallace Community College Campus in Dothan and Sparks Campus in Eufaula will delay opening until 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 25, 2023
  • Houston Academy
    • Houston County will delay opening until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25.
    • Staff should report to campus at 8:45 a.m.
